The Chapter pertaining to Yakima Municipal Court is being amended to publish court fixed fees in the Master Fee Schedule. The court has decided to use this opportunity to make housekeeping changes to Chapter 1.60 pertaining to Municipal Court. The proposed changes include removing the language that creates a violations bureau and an in-house probation department. These sections are no longer needed because the violations bureau was for the purpose of receiving traffic citation payments, prior to the creation of the Municipal Court, and Municipal Court currently contracts with Yakima County District Court for probation services. The remaining changes reflect current practices. |
