The Yakima City Council authorized the implementation of fire inspection fees beginning in January of 2017 with an increase adjustment in May of 2018. It has been over four years since any adjustments in fees have been requested to cover the increased cost for this service. The Fire Department's Community Risk Reduction Division is requesting council consider an increase to the fees as outlined in Exhibit "A".
