ITEM TITLE:Discussion on the Council Nominating Committee process

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
See attached memorandum.  Additionally, terms expire on June and December of each year; therefore, if Council wishes to rotate members, perhaps annually or semi-annually would work better for members.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends retention of the current process utilized by the Council Nominating Committee to determine appointment recommendations to City boards, committees, and commissions.
