SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

A grant request was submitted to the Washington State Legislature for funding of $1,000,000 for the development of plans, specifications and bid documents for the construction of a public swimming pool at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.  The request was approved by the Legislators for the funding. Enclosed for City Council review is the Agreement with the Department of Commerce for the $1,000,000.
