City Project #2512 provided for the Fuel Management System Upgrades. The City contracted with Mascott Equipment Company to remove existing card readers, install new Petro-Vend PV-200 terminals, test communications and proper operation, provide passive vehicle tags and install radio frequency nozzles as part of the AVI (Automatic Vehicle Identification) system, and provide on-site training for AVI installation for the City of Yakima Fuel Management System.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted. Project completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department of Revenue and authorizations from state agencies allowing final payment. A final payment of $0 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Mascott Equipment Company for the completion of the work.
