The City of Yakima was awarded a grant of $135,125.00 for a Summer Experiences & Enrichment for Kids (SEEK) program. This Grant Agreement formalizes the issuance of the grant and outlines each party’s obligations with regards to the funding.
With the grant funding, Yakima Parks and Recreation would like to provide a new free program dedicated to creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment for teens at the Washington Fruit Community Center (WFCC) with activities such as basketball, soccer, pickleball, tabletop and video games, enrichment classes and movie nights. In addition, funding would be used towards Summer Programs at both Kissel Park and Miller Park/WFCC. |
