City Project #2577 (2549) provided for the Spring Creek Wetland Mitigation. The City contracted with Thayer Excavation LLC to establish a wetland mitigation site adjacent to Billy’s Pond within the Wastewater Treatment Plant property as mitigation for the Spring Creek Road project 2428. The wetland mitigation consisted of excavation including hauling, crushing surface top course, topsoil type A and other work, which was constructed in accordance with the plans and specification.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted. Project completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department of Revenue and authorizations from state agencies allowing final payment. A final payment of $23,138.84 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Thayer Excavation LLC for the completion of the work.
