At its January 18th regular meeting, the City Council will be provided an update on the 2022 Washington State Legislature session, which began on January 10th.  The 60-day "short" session will focus on any necessary supplements to the biennial budget adopted during the 2021 session as well as other normal business of the legislature.

The January 18th briefing will include a review of the City's 2022 State Legislative Priorities (attached) and other legislative issues of interest to the City.  The briefing will be presented by the City's Communications & Public Affairs Director, Randy Beehler, and the City's Olympia lobbyists, Luke Esser and Nick Federeci.
