Ken Leingang Excavating Inc. completed City Waterline Project AC2504 located on Avalanche Avenue from North 40th Avenue to North 42nd Avenue; and City Waterline Project AC2537 located on East Mead Avenue from South 1st Street and South Fair Avenue, and on South 1st Street south of East Mead Avenue.
The project installed approximately 2,160 LF of 12-inch ductile iron water main, 150 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, 140 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 21 valves, 4 fire hydrant assemblies, 5 service connections, one Level 2 to Level 3 pressure reducing valve station, 360 tons of HMA, 580 tons of CSBC and related repair of existing asphalt surfacing, concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, and landscape restoration.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted. A final payment of $35,637.54 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Ken Leingang Excavating Inc. for the completion of this project.
