The Yakima Municipal Code 3.15 Equipment Rental and Replacement Fund was last updated in 1982. During the City’s financial statement audit in 2021, the State Auditor’s Office recommended review of the City’s process and procedures to ensure current practice and administration is reflected.
Staff took this recommendation and worked with departments in the City to update YMC 3.15 to reflect current practice and to establish a central fund where motor vehicles and equipment shall be purchased and accounted for. |
