On November 1, 2021, City Council approved an increase in the refuse in-lieu tax under Yakima Municipal Code 7.64.030 from 15% to 20%. The intention behind this increase is to allocate the additional income raised from the tax towards the Clean City Program. This ordinance amends the Clean City Fund ordinance to reflect the additional funding source.
