ITEM TITLE:Resolution authorizing an Agreement with TTC Construction, LLC. for Project No. AC2533 30-inch transmission main valve installation

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The first level reservoir is in need of improvements to repair leaks and install additional access hatches.  A new isolation valve must be installed in the 30-inch transmission main leading to that reservoir to facilitate the needed improvements.

 

City staff used the State bidding process to advertise for competitive bids for the 30-inch transmission main valve installation for Project No. AC2533 and TTC Construction, LLC was the low bidder with a bid of $100,502.  The Agreement is attached for City Council review in an amount not to exceed $100,502.  This vital project is funded by the Water Improvement Fund.
