PLSA Engineering and Surveying on behalf of Racquet Lane Townhomes LLC, submitted Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment (CPA), Rezone, and Environmental Review applications for one parcel from Low Density Residential to Mixed Residential and rezone from Single-Family Residential (R-1) to Multi-Family Residential (R-3). After holding a study session on July 14, 2021, and a public hearing on August 11, 2021, the Yakima Planning Commission recommended approval of the CPA and Rezone applications, with the Findings being signed by the chair on August 25, 2021.
In accordance with YMC 16.10.090, the City Council shall direct planning staff to prepare legislation to approve, approve with conditions, or deny each amendment under consideration; and at a subsequent City Council meeting enact an Ordinance adopting the decision reached at the public hearing.
