ITEM TITLE:Project Completion and Contract Acceptance for POW Contracting, Inc. - Project 2511 Beech Street Lift Station Odor Control Improvements

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

City Project 2511 installed wet well ventilation improvements and an activated carbon air scrubber to mitigate corrosion and odor issues at the Beech Street Lift Station. The City contracted with POW Contracting, Inc. for the construction. 

 

Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted.  A final payment of $0 is due from the City to POW Contracting for the completion of the project.

The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.  City Council action is required to accept the project.
