SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

Traffic Safety is based on Education, Enforcement, and Engineering.  The enclosed PowerPoint presentation and report reviews the ten intersections within the City of Yakima that have been identified as having the highest number of collisions in the past three years.  The following will be covered for each intersection:

 

  • Number of collisions 
  • Trend in the number of accidents over the past three years
  • Factors
  • Recommendation
