The East General Aviation Apron was constructed in 1987 and is located adjacent to the main terminal building where a variety of aircraft and airline charters utilize the apron as a parking location upon their arrival into Yakima. Central Washington Asphalt will rehabilitate approximately 30,000 square yards of asphalt pavement, associated drainage, aircraft tie-downs, pavement markings and apron lighting in order to increase safety measures for commercial, corporate, and General Aviation aircraft that operate at the Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field. Total cost not to exceed $1,817,032.49.
