SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

This Master Pay Ordinance includes classification and compensation changes approved and recommended by the Charter Civil Service Commission, City Management, AFSCME, and IAFF. 

 

New Charter Classifications:

 

4415 Code Compliance Assistant; Pay Code 10.5 ($17.63-$21.05) Non-Exempt; AFSCME

 

8660 Traffic Signs & Markings Laborer; Pay Code 9.0; ($16.48-$19.76) Non-Exempt; AFSCME

 

New Fire Classification

 

6416 Public Safety Training Supervisor; Pay Code 558 ($28.66-$36.56); Non-Exempt; Fire PERS

 

Retitled Fire Classifications:

 

Change title of 6410 Public Safety 9-1-1 Calltaker to Telecommunicator I

 

Change title of 6412 Public Safety Dispatcher to Telecommunicator

 

Change title of 6415 Public Safety Communications Supervisor to Public Safety Telecommunicator Supervisor

 

Non-represented positions and positions represented by Teamsters Local #760 (Public Works Division Managers Unit and Supervisors/Administrative Unit) Pay and Compensation Adjustment (PACA) of .03% effective 1/1/21.
