City Contract #2020-083 rehabilitated the Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field's Runway 9/27, which included the replacement of the runway's high intensity runway edge/end lights (HIRL) with LED HIRLs; replacement of the runways electrical circuits; replace and relocated Runway 9 supplementary wind cone beyond the Runway Object Free Area (ROFA); and crack/fog sealed the asphalt surface while applying new runway surface markings in order to meet current Federal Aviation Administration safety standards.

Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted.  A final payment of $62,870.24 (5% bond) is due from the City to Road Products, Inc. for the completion of the runway rehabilitation project.
