The City of Yakima's Equipment Rental Division has rolling stock that is surplus to the needs of the City. Said rolling stock is valued at over $15,000 per asset and does not fall under the authority of the City's Surplus Disposal Policy 3-100; therefore, Council must declare the attached list of property that is valued over $15,000 surplus before disposal may begin. The estimated value of each asset is provided on the attached list.
City Council approval is requested to declare the attached list of assets as surplus and to authorize the City Manager, through Purchasing, to dispose of said assets in a manner most beneficial to the City. Proceeds from the sale will be assigned to Equipment Rental fund 552. |
