The City of Yakima is responsible for the improvements to Spring Creek Road and 36th Avenue in order to provide better access to SOZO Sports Complex. After completing Phase 1 of this project, and designing for Phase 2, it became apparent that the wetland mitigation was more extensive than originally anticipated.
It is the desire of the City of Yakima to supplement Contract 2017-014 with Widener and Associates executed on February 8, 2017, with Supplement Agreement No. 2 for additional work associated with the wetland mitigation required for the completion of Phase 2 of the Spring Creek Road and 36th Avenue Improvement Project in an amount not to exceed $34,251.20.
A copy of Supplement Agreement No. 2 is attached for City Council review. Phase 2 of the Spring Creek Road project is anticipated to be constructed in 2021. |
