ITEM TITLE:Resolution extending the Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) Interagency Agreement with the Department of Commerce to November 30, 2020 with additional funding

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

On May 20, 2020, the Washington State Department of Commerce notified the City that Governor Inslee awarded Yakima $2,833,200 in Coronavirus Relief Funds for disaster recovery costs incurred related to the COVID-19 emergency. 

 

This is authorization for the City Manager to execute an interagency agreement between the Washington State Department of Commerce and the City of Yakima for an extension to November 30, 2020 and approving additional funding of $1,416,600.
