| SUMMARY EXPLANATION: | | There are currently a number of separate code provisions that address property maintenance issues, nuisances, housing standards and dangerous buildings. The International Property Maintenance Code ("IPMC") addresses all of those issues in one code. After review, City staff recommends combining all of the previous code sections on these issues into one code section which adopts portions of the IPMC, amends other portions, and adds sections to the code to cover all of the property maintenance and nuisance issues previously covered in other code sections. This will provide consistency and an easier place for residents to find code provisions regarding property maintenance and upkeep. |
