ITEM TITLE:Resolution authorizing Yakima School District School Resource Officer contract

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The Yakima School District and the Yakima Police Department desire to enter into a twelve month agreement to provide for School Resource Officer services within the Yakima School District during the 2020-2021 regular school term.

 

This agreement with the Yakima School District is to retroactively commence on July 1, 2020 and continue through the regular 2020-2021 school session, ending June 30, 2021.  The Agreement is jointly funded by the City of Yakima and the Yakima School District.
