The City of Yakima was notified by the U. S. Department of Justice that it is eligible to apply for the FY2020 JAG in the amount of $56,019. The City is required to share $12,021 with Yakima County. The grant will fund Yakima Police Department anti-crime emphasis patrols and police equipment for Yakima County. The grant requires a public hearing and the approval of an interlocal agreement with Yakima County. |
