ITEM TITLE:Ordinance amending Yakima Municipal Code Section 9.25.020 to allow cruising on Yakima Avenue all Saturdays in June, July, August and September

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
During the regular business meeting on June 2, 2020, a majority of the City Council requested an Ordinance that would amend YMC 9.25.020 to allow open cruising on Yakima Avenue from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on all Saturdays in the months of June, July, August, and September.  This Ordinance, if passed, will accomplish that request and will go into effect 30 days from publishing which will take place on the Friday following the Council Business meeting.  The first Saturday of open cruising, under the new Ordinance, will be Saturday July 25, and the last Saturday falls on September 26.
