ITEM TITLE:Resolution authorizing designated representatives to execute FEMA-related contracts, request payments, and approve required documentation to obtain federal and/or state emergency or disaster assistance funds

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The City of Yakima has submitted a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) for supplemental assistance for disaster recovery costs related to disaster number 4481-DR-WA COVID-19 event.  An agreement is required between the Washington Military Department and City of Yakima, which the Washington State Attorney General’s Office has provided.

 

Council approval is requested to authorize the Interim City Manager and Director of Finance and Budget to execute appropriate documents to pursue reimbursement.
