| SUMMARY EXPLANATION: | | Alex Meyerhoff was engaged by the City in November, 2019 for a six-month term as the Interim City Manager. On April 7, 2020, the City Council approved moving forward with a formal employment advertising process for the City Manager position. The hiring process will extend beyond Mr. Meyerhoff’s present Interim City Manager contract term and therefore the City Council wishes to extend Mr. Meyerhoff’s term of employment to either December 31, 2020 or the hiring and swearing in of a new City Manager, whichever shall first occur, as set forth in the attached Amendment No. 1 to the Interim City Manager Employment Agreement. |
