| SUMMARY EXPLANATION: | | During the April 7, 2020 City Council Regular Business Meeting the City Council adjourned to an executive session to discuss complaints made against a public officer. Following the executive session Council members stated their perspectives with regard to the statements and actions exhibited recently by Council member Jason White that were the subject of the underlying complaint. After presenting and discussing their perspectives, the Council moved to have a formal resolution presented, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the Rules and Procedures of the Yakima City Council, identifying the specific actions and statements that were the subject of the Council’s action and publicly censuring Council member White in accordance with Section K(2)(c)(i). The formal resolution is attached hereto. |
