ITEM TITLE:Ordinance amending the City of Yakima Municipal Code Chapter 11.62.040, Yakima Historic Preservation Commission

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
This proposed ordinance seeks to change the number of members of the Historic Preservation Commission from seven (7) to five (5). It has been difficult to fill all seven seats, creating problems with having quorum to hold meetings and conduct business. It is believed that the commission can be just as effective with five members as it was originally with seven.

Pass ordinance.
BOARD/COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
