ITEM TITLE:Set September 3, 2019, as the public hearing date to consider the Yakima Planning Commission's recommendations on five (5) Comprehensive Plan map amendments and concurrent Rezone applications

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The City of Yakima Planning Commission has reviewed and made recommendation to the City Council on the five (5) applications submitted as part of the 2019 Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezone process. A summary of each application is included in the attached docket. The complete record for each application will be provided in advance of the September 3, 2019 public hearing date. The subject sites are generally described as following:

 

1. CPA#001-19: 14 & 16 E Washington Ave & 2308 S 1st St (multiple properties)

2. CPA#002-19: 1900 N 1st St

3. CPA#004-19: Vicinity of N 16th Ave & Hathaway St (multiple properties)

4. CPA#005-19: 618, 622, 702, 706, 710 & 714 W J St (multiple properties)

5. CPA#006-19: 1601, 1607, 1611, 1703 & 1725 River Rd (multiple properties)
