ITEM TITLE:Closed record public meeting to consider the Hearing Examiner's recommendation regarding a rezone application submitted by Triumph Treatment Services for property at 2708 Jerome Avenue

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

On March 15, 2019, Traho Architects, on behalf of Triumph Treatment Services, submitted an application to rezone property at 2708 Jerome Avenue from Two-Family Residential (R-2) to Multi-Family Residential (R-3). The parcel, which is approximately 0.21 acres in size, is intended to be used as a childcare play area and open space for the Triumph Treatment Center campus lying to the west in the vicinity of 600 Superior Lane.

 

The Hearing Examiner held a public hearing on June 13, 2019 and submitted a written recommendation to approve the proposed rezone on June 27, 2019. Council was provided a complete printed version of the record for review on July 16, 2019 (Council--please bring your packet to the meeting).
