In 2010 Yakima County Parcel No. 191329-33445 was assessed for the parcel’s share of the cost of a sewer extension project that was performed as part of Local Improvement District No. 1061.  This parcel was segregated into two “child” parcels of equal size in 2012. It is now appropriate and necessary to divide the remaining unpaid balance of the LID assessment assigned to the parent parcel, including any interest and penalties accrued thereon, into two equal amounts that will then be assigned to each of the new “child” parcels that are equally benefited by the sewer service available as a result of the local improvement.

Pursuant to the authority granted to the City Council under RCW 35.44.410 the attached resolution will segregate the remaining assessment amount owing against the original parent parcel, together with accumulated interest and penalties, into two equal assessments that will then be assigned to child parcels, 191329-33446 and 191329-33447.
