ITEM TITLE:Closed record public hearing and Resolution to consider the Yakima Planning Commission's recommendation regarding the preliminary plat of Vista Ridge Phase 2 located in the vicinity of S 72nd Ave & Coolidge Rd

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The Preliminary Long Plat of Vista Ridge Phase 2 is a 32-lot subdivision located in the vicinity of S 72nd Ave and Coolidge Rd, and zoned R-1 Single-Family Residential. The plat will include full urban services including sewer, water, streets with curbs, gutters, and sidewalks on both sides of the street, and streetlights. As submitted, this plat complies with the requirements of the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, Development Standards, and Traffic Concurrency.

 

The Yakima Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 22, 2019 and made a recommendation to approve the proposed preliminary plat, with the Chair signing the findings on June 4, 2019. Council was provided a complete printed version of the record for review on July 2, 2019 (Council--please bring your packet to the meeting).
