| SUMMARY EXPLANATION: | | The Yakima Municipal Code gives the City Manager authority to offer up to four months of base salary upon termination of an employee following execution of a general release of the City. With the consent of the City Council, the City Manager’s authority may be increased. This Resolution will authorize the City Manager to offer two additional months base salary as severance for the Police Chief position if terminated without cause within the first five years of employment. |
