ITEM TITLE:Project Completion and Contract Acceptance for TTC Construction, Inc. - Project 2480 Gregory Place & 72nd Sewer

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

City Project 2480 provided for the extension of sanitary sewer in the vicinity of Gregory Place & 72nd Ave.  The City contracted with TTC Construction, Inc. to install 440 linear feet of 8" PVC pipe and 2 manholes from an existing sewer manhole within Gregory Place, as well as construction of 6 new side-sewer stub outs for future service.   

 

Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted.  A final payment of $7,609.76 (5% retainage) is due from the City to TTC Construction, Inc. for the completion of the sanitary sewer extension project.

The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.  City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
