This is a resolution directing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Yakima County Department of Corrections for the housing of City prisoners who cannot be housed at the Yakima City Jail in 2019. The agreement will renew annually through December 31, 2023. It calls for the County to house prisoners at a tiered daily rate between $57.65 and $63.65, dependent on the number of prisoners housed. Inmates with special housing and/or medical needs will be billed at a daily rate of $98.35. Medical costs are in addition to the daily rate. |
