ITEM TITLE:Council Economic Development Committee regarding 1) recommendation regarding May 2018 Real Estate Convention in Las Vegas, NV and 2) recommendation to endorse and to authorize the Council Economic Development Committee to take the necessary steps to explore the steps necessary to obtain Creative District certification

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
At the March 22, 2018 Council Economic Development Committee meeting, the Committee recommend Council Member White attend the Real Estate Convention (RECON) on May 20-23, 2018, in Las Vegas, NV.  Council travel and training budget funds would be used to cover the expenses.  Additionally, the Committee recommends that Council endorse and authorize the Council Economic Development Committee take the necessary steps to obtain a Creative District certification.
