The Yakima City Council authorized the City Manager to apply for a $50,000 CERB Planning Grant to evaluate real estate options for a Yakima Business Incubator and Public Market during their September 20, 2016 City Council meeting. The application was approved for funding at the November 17, 2016 CERB Board Meeting in Olympia. In May 2017, the City Council approved a contract with Graham Baba Architects to perform the study. This final step in the process is to approve the agreement with CERB to receive $50,000 in grant funding for the project. |
