ITEM TITLE:Resolution ratifying and confirming the City Manager's execution of Change Order 2 with Apollo Inc for North 1st Street Phase 3 Project 2580

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The City of Yakima selected Apollo Inc. as the contractor on Resolution R-2023-125 for the N 1st Street Phase 3 Project 2580. Additional work was required of Apollo Inc. due to the discovery of a large box culvert and encased pipe within the roadway. While excavating for the installation of water services, these unknown obstructions were encountered. 

 

The total cost of Change Order 2 is $120,000.00 and would increase the number of working days by 15.
