On June 20, 2023, the City of Yakima adopted R-2023-092 and R-2023-093 as required by state statute to update its Six-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for submittal to the Washington State Department of Transportation. The City is amending the Six-year TIP to include the following funded additional project:
- Nob Hill Grind & Overlay (S 28th Ave to S 40 Ave)
The project was not on last year's TIP update because the City was still seeking funding. Now that the City has secured funding, the project needs to be on the adopted TIP.
A Public Hearing will be held to consider including the additional project in adoption of an amended Resolution approving the Six-year TIP and amending the regional Metropolitan Transportation Plan and Comprehensive Plan Capital Facilities Element.
