The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) through FTA FY2020-2023 Section 5339(a) Small Urban - Bus Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Equipment Upgrades has awarded the City of Yakima (City) grant funding in the amount of $914,320 to be used towards the purchase and installation of software and equipment to replace Yakima Transit’s existing ITS; including post-installation software support. This funding requires a 20% match from the City which equates to $228,581.
In order to receive this funding, it is necessary for the City and FTA to enter into Grant Agreement WA-2023-071-00 which has been attached for City Council review. |
