ITEM TITLE:Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with Knobels Electric Inc for the City Hall Sidewalk Replacement Project 2750

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

City Project #2750 provided for the replacement of sidewalk located at City Hall on N. 3rd Street. Final inspection for these projects were made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted.  Project completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department of Revenue and authorizations from state agencies allowing final payment.  A final payment of $2,900.63 is due from the City to the contractor for the completion of the work.

The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.  City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
