| SUMMARY EXPLANATION: | | The City of Yakima has been requested to authorize an application with the Supporting Infrastructure for Economic Development (SIED) program to fund a new traffic signal at the intersection of South 3rd Avenue and Division Street. This project will retain local jobs in Yakima, address pedestrian safety, and allow for future private development and improvements of the Yakima Chief Hops campus and operations. The project is requesting $312,500 in grant, $312,500 in loan and a 20% local match is required. |
