| SUMMARY EXPLANATION: | | The City currently is a member of the Yakima Consortium for Regional Public Safety (Yakcorps). The consortium is comprised of public safety entities throughout the county and is responsible for the administration of the regional CAD system known as Spillman. Staff recommends the proposed changes as Yakima County currently prepares the annual billing for Spillman. This change would consolidate and streamline the process. The addition of the Public Safety Radio Communications committee is also recommended as this is the most efficient forum to address interoperability issues county-wide. |
