SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The Council Nominating Committee (Lund, Deccio and Herrera) met on May 22, 2023 and made the following recommendations for appointment to Boards & Committees:

 

  • Arts Commission -- Autumn Britt, artist 
  • Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee -- Jennifer Chandler
  • Henry Beauchamp Jr. Community Center Advisory Committee -- Reesha Cosby
  • Housing Authority -- Abdon Godinez 
  • Parks & Recreation Commission -- Blake Scully
  • Planning Commission -- Charles Hitchcock
  • Lodging Tax Advisory Committee -- Luis Gutierrez
  • Sustainable Yakima Committee Youth Member -- Ajit Singh

 

And to reappoint:

  • Board of Appeals: Barbara Cline, Jim Johnston and James Fickel
  • Henry Beauchamp Jr. Community Center Advisory Committee: Rev. Trimble and Wilma Beauchamp
  • Historic Preservation Commission: Dawn Noel King and Joe Mann
  • Parks & Recreation Commission: Stacy Hackenmueller
  • Public Facilities District -- Maureen Adkison
