The City of Yakima (City) is regulated by the Department of Ecology for stormwater management in accordance with its issued Eastern Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System General Permit #WAR046013.
The City's Stormwater Division is requesting that Yakima Municipal Code (YMC) 7.83.100 Design Manuals be amended to include the requirement that design manuals approved for stormwater Best Management Practices will meet the minimum technical requirements of Appendix 1 to the Eastern Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit.
Codifying the amendment to Section 7.83.100 completes an important compliance requirement of the City's permit with the Department of Ecology. |
