The City of Yakima's Nob Hill Boulevard Resurfacing project includes resurfacing from 15th Avenue to 28th Avenue. Pacific Avenue Sidewalk Improvements constructs missing sidewalk segments along Pacific Avenue.
The City used the procedure established by Washington State law for the bidding and awarding of public capital improvement projects with American Rock Products being selected to provide construction on the projects in the amount not to exceed $1,684,170.00. The two projects will be combined into one construction project for ease of administration and reduction of construction costs. The Agreement has been attached for City Council review.
The Nob Hill Resurfacing project is being state funded with a Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) Award of $1,335,000 requiring a 20% local match and the Pacific Ave. Sidewalk Improvements project, is being funded by a $250,000 Award for Complete Street with no local match required.
