ITEM TITLE:Update on Creating a Definition of "Abandoned" in International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC)

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
At the City Council meeting of March 7, 2023, Council Member Cousens requested  Council to evaluate the need to add a definition to the IPMC of the term "abandoned". This item was previously debated by the City Council in June of 2022. The enclosed memo provides an update of the  IPMC and this request for background material.
