ITEM TITLE:Resolution awarding RFP 12240P and authorizing an agreement with Hall and Gilliland PLLC to provide Public Defense Services for Indigent Defendants

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:

The City is mandated by the State to provide representation for indigent criminal defendants.  Recommendation of Intent to Negotiate was made to Hall and Gilliland PLLC.  The Scope of Services and negotiated agreement meet the needs and requirements of the City of Yakima for Indigent Defense Services for Municipal Court.
