Pay range increases have been updated in accordance with Yakima Police Patrolman’s Association (YPPA), January 1, 2020-December 31, 2023, bargaining agreement for Police Officers, Corporals and Sergeants, reflecting 4.5% effective 1/1/2020; 4.5% effective 1/1/2021; 5.5% effective 1/1/2022; 5.5% effective 1/1/2023. - (Please note only final 2023 allocation change is showing on the ordinance)
Per YPPA contract, effective 1/1/2023, the top step Sergeant monthly wage has been adjusted to be 16% above the top step Police Officer. |
